Overview
The purpose of the Functional Skills Mathematics Level 1 qualification is to demonstrate both mathematical skills at the appropriate level and the ability to apply mathematical thinking effectively to solve problems successfully in the workplace and in other real life situations.

Entry Requirements
You do not need any qualifications or experience in order to join this course in Mathematics Level 1 Functional Skills. The following requirements are all you need to join:
Age: 18+
Students take a Functional Skills test to see if they should join Entry 1, 2, 3 or Level 1, 2 Functional Skills in Maths.
All entry decisions are taken on an individual basis.
