TEC was established in 2012 in order to meet the needs of local people, who lack the education they need for gainful employment or academic success. Our dedicated team of professionals is committed to ensuring that students receive a high-quality education, which equips them with the knowledge, skills, and qualifications needed to develop their career and enhance their life chances.
Mission, Vision & Values
Our Mission
To provide students within local communities with the holistic education they need to improve their life chances.
Our Vision
To become a foremost provider of the complete education journey, supporting adults from basic skills courses up to university degrees and career success.
STUDY CENTRES
We aim to provide education that meets the needs of local communities, which is why we have opened study centres in three cities across the UK: Nottingham (Head Office), Leicester, and Birmingham. Having study centres in three cities allows us to widen participation to people from under-represented communities, who lack the confidence and support they need for academic and career success.

Our Current Courses
We offer courses at a range of levels to suit students at four different stages in their development. Students who start with basic English and Maths training will be able to stay with us throughout their academic journey, progressing to a university level education and career success. Alongside basic English and Maths courses, we specialise in Door Supervisor training, and Diplomas in Business and Management. We are also approved to offer Level 3 courses in Health & Social Care, appropriate for people wishing to start a career in the health sector.
These courses give you the skills and confidence you need to communicate and use basic maths effectively, preparing you for employment or further studies.
